FAQs

You are here:

We’ve put together a list of the questions that our customers often ask us about our services.

What types of events do you provide bar hire for?

We provide bar hire for special celebrations such as birthdays, anniversaries, and weddings, as well as corporate events such as parties, product launches, and office openings.

How many people can you cater for?

We can cater for events of all sizes, up to a maximum of 500 guests.

Can we decide which drinks will be served?

Yes, we offer a bespoke service that allows all our customers to select which drinks will be served at their event.

How competitive are your bar prices?

We regularly revisit our prices to make sure that we are offering the best possible value, assessing them against our competitors as well as bar and pub venues.

Can I design a bar package for my event?

Absolutely. We will help you with this.

Will I need to apply for any licences?

We will take care of any licence applications for you so that the planning process is as stress free as possible. It’s all part of our service.

How much time do you need to set up before my event?

Set-up time will vary depending on the size of the event and your exact bar package, though generally it takes 1.5-2 hours.

Do you offer draught beers and ciders?

Yes. We will discuss the range of draught beers and ciders we offer during your initial consultation.

Do you offer soft drinks or other non-alcoholic options?

Absolutely. We want all the guests at your event to have a great time, so we offer a number of soft drinks as well as an excellent non-alcoholic cocktail menu.

Will you provide bar staff?

Yes. Our mobile bar packages include professional bar service. We will discuss your requirements during your initial consultation.

Do you provide glassware?

Yes.

Can you supply bar furniture if we need it?

Yes.

Will I need to pay a deposit?

Yes. We charge a £100 deposit. This is refundable, minus the cost of any breakages.

Do you charge for installation?

The price that you pay for your bar package covers delivery, set up, and collection.

What facilities will you need on site?

We are relatively self-sufficient, but we might require access to a power point if you have opted for refrigeration. Access to running water is always helpful but we can work around this if it’s not going to be possible at your chosen venue.

What happens if I need to cancel?

We will transfer your booking to another date free of charge, subject to availability. If you do need to cancel altogether, the exact terms of cancellation will depend on how close it is to the date of the event. We will retain the £100 booking deposit from any cancellations.

What is a dry bar?

A dry bar means that the customer has chosen to provide their own drinks. We provide everything else needed for the service such as bartenders, bar units, refrigeration, glassware, bar tools etc.

Do you water down drinks?

Absolutely not! This is something that we will never do.

If I buy my own drinks, how much will I need to spend?

We would suggest around £6 per head as a rough guideline.

How many cocktails can I choose?

We would recommend up to five cocktails. This will allow for an efficient, smooth, and seamless service. If you are providing your own drinks, capping things at this number is likely to reduce the risk of having leftovers.

What happens if I don’t meet my minimum spend?

If your event doesn’t meet the agreed minimum spend, you will need to pay the difference. Your deposit will go towards this.

How many bartenders will I need?

Generally, we recommend hiring a bartender for every fifty guests; however, this can be affected by the selection of drinks you have. We’ll be happy to advise you on staffing when you design your bar package with us.

How many glasses will I need?

Normally we tell our customers that two glasses per guest will be enough, provided they have hired somebody to collect and wash these glasses throughout the evening. If not, we recommend allowing four or five glasses per guest.
